Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: 当当云阅读 at 4.7 against 博看书苑's 4.1. 当当云阅读 also leads on ratings volume (989 vs 19) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). 博看书苑's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 21) and review sentiment (91% vs 74%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 当当云阅读 sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. 博看书苑 asks for nothing beyond the download.
当当云阅读 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 当当云阅读 has 989 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of 当当云阅读's written reviews are positive against 91% of 博看书苑's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
当当云阅读 ships an update every 2 weeks, 博看书苑 monthly. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
