Clock-Out Timer keeps one number in front of you: how much of today is left. Working late usually isn't a willpower problem. It's a time-awareness problem. When the time remaining is simply there, in view, deciding to stop gets a lot easier. ■ Visible without opening it At your start time, the time left and a progress bar appear on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. There are widgets, Lock Screen widgets, Apple Watch complications and a StandBy desk clock too. You never have to open the app. ■ It changes colour as you get close Under an hour to go, it turns orange. At your end time, it says so. Past it, it turns red and counts your overtime, so you always know how far over you are. ■ End your day with one tap "Done for Today" stops today's notifications and the countdown. Marking the end is often what makes the end happen. Staying a bit longer? Extend by 15, 30 or 60 minutes. Stepping away? Start a break. All of it works from the Lock Screen. ■ Build a streak of finishing on time Days you leave on time are recorded automatically and counted as a streak, with days off skipped. It's one more reason to call it a day. ■ Notifications, at your volume Choose Off, Minimal, Standard or Custom. Beyond start and end reminders, you can set your own checkpoints through the day and a countdown before you finish. ■ Quiet on your days off Pick which weekdays you're off and the app stays silent — no notifications, no Live Activity. Finish on time a little more often.

Know how much time you really spend on social media. Social Media Timer helps you understand your daily social media usage — without guesswork. Set up once with Apple Shortcuts, and the app tracks your time automatically whenever you open or close apps like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and more. AUTOMATIC TRACKING WITH SHORTCUTS Create two simple automations in the Shortcuts app: one to start the timer when a social app opens, and one to stop it when you close the app. The built-in step-by-step guide walks you through the entire setup. After that, tracking runs in the background — no need to open the app every time. CLEAR DAILY OVERVIEW See your total social media time for today at a glance. A live counter updates in real time while you’re in a session, so you always know where you stand. LIVE ACTIVITY & DYNAMIC ISLAND Keep your timer visible on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island while a session is active. See how long you’ve been scrolling and your running daily total — without switching apps. WEEKLY STATS & SESSION HISTORY Review your habits with a 7-day bar chart and a detailed session history organized by day and hour. Spot patterns, compare days, and make more intentional choices about your screen time. HOME SCREEN & LOCK SCREEN WIDGETS Add widgets to see today’s total or your weekly usage right from your Home Screen or Lock Screen. SMART REMINDERS Turn on reminders to get nudged during long sessions. Choose gentle notifications at regular intervals, or a stronger alarm that can ring even when your phone is muted (with snooze support). Reminders notify you — they never stop your timer, so your stats stay accurate. MANUAL TIMER Prefer to track manually? Start and stop the timer anytime with a single tap. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your usage data stays on your device. No account required. No ads. No tracking of what you read or watch — only how long you spend in the apps you choose to track. PERFECT FOR • Anyone who wants to reduce mindless scrolling • Students and professionals building healthier digital habits • Parents setting a better example for screen time • Anyone curious about where their time actually goes ONE-TIME SETUP Social Media Timer uses Apple’s built-in Shortcuts automations for automatic tracking. A guided onboarding flow and in-app setup guide make configuration quick and straightforward. You’ll also start the timer once manually to enable Live Activities — then Shortcuts can take over. Take control of your time. Start with awareness — the rest follows.
