Both are free to download. Weather for Austria sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Yr.no asks for nothing beyond the download.
Yr.no holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yr.no has 204 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Yr.no's written reviews are positive against 72% of Weather for Austria's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Yr.no ships an update fortnightly, Weather for Austria every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
