Sunkissed shows how strong the sun is right now and helps you plan your time in it. LIVE UV INDEX See the UV index for your location the moment you open the app, with a plain label from Low to Extreme. BEST WINDOW TO TAN Sunkissed reads today's forecast and picks the hours worth going outside for. A seven-day outlook helps you plan the week. HOUR-BY-HOUR UV Drag across today's UV curve to check any time of day. Tap a day in the outlook to see its curve. SESSION TIMER Slide the sun to start. Choose a set length or leave it open-ended, then pick how often to flip. Sunkissed reminds you to turn over, tells you when to reapply sunscreen, and estimates your burn limit from your skin type, your SPF, and the current UV. YOUR SESSION STAYS PUT Close the app, lock your phone, or force-quit. Your session keeps counting and is waiting when you come back. It ends when you end it. GOOD-WINDOW ALERTS Choose a UV level and get one notification on days the forecast reaches it. Quiet hours and day-of-week settings keep it from bothering you. BEFORE AND AFTER CARD Add before and after photos to a finished session and Sunkissed builds a card with your stats. Save it to your photos or share it. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no ads, no analytics. Your profile and sessions stay on your phone. Your location is used only to fetch the UV forecast. Sunkissed offers general sun-safety guidance, not medical advice. Any tan is skin damage. Wear sunscreen, and see a dermatologist about any concern with your skin. UV data by Open-Meteo.

The clearest difference is rating: Sunkissed at 5.0 against Yr.no's 4.3. Sunkissed also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 61%). Yr.no's advantage is ratings volume (204 vs 1) and chart position (#97 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
