In contrast to other solutions, mRay is specifically designed for mobile devices. Important tools like annotations and measurements are available as well as an adaptable level window. Image data is encrypted and stored temporally locally on the device, removing the need of a permanent Internet or Wi-Fi connection while ensuring highest security standards. Most notably, mRay implements well-established security measures to protect your image data and privacy. An individual user and device authentication controls the image access of every user for every image. With mRay you are ensuring a high standard of networking with your colleagues anytime and anywhere. The integrated Instant Messenger offers a secure communication platform to share DICOM images as well as key images, audio and text messages. E.g. now you can easily share the current state of your viewer with another colleague to get a secondary opinion. Moreover the app offers a telephony feature using VoIP enabling every aspect of mobile devices without compromising patient confidentiality. Last but not least, mRay works seamlessly with your existing infrastructure. A minimal server application needs to be installed which reads DICOM files from the disk and is able to receive files directly from your PACS. The new smop application allows you to display the relevant 3D data and slices of a radiographic scan and implant planning, that has been prepared with the smop planning system on Windows or MacOs (www.mysmop.com). In the app you can surf through all slices in all relevant areas and directions and you can comment implant planning and designed drilling templates. Your chosen Service Partner or dental laboratory can export the data for the drilling template and manufacture it via milling or 3D printing. This drilling template can be used to control the drilling and putting of the implant into the bone of the patient. This application is the first full-3D implant planning viewer on the market and the innovative template design of Swissmeda is known to guarantee the best sitting and working drilling templates for dental implant placement in the market.
