MoBY vs VGI App Ingolstadt

MoBY ist die kostenlose Mobilitäts-App für ganz Bayern. Sie ist der persönliche Reisebegleiter für alle Nutzer öffentlicher Verkehrsmittel. Fahrten planen, Tickets buchen, sich über Verspätungen informieren, Anschlusswünsche melden: MoBY kennt nahezu alle Verbindungen in Bayern und darüber hinaus, ob in der Stadt oder auf dem Land, ob mit dem Zug, mit U- oder S-Bahn, Bus, Tram und Sharing-Anbietern (E-Scooter, Leihräder und Co.) oder auch mit dem Rufbus. Die App wird von der Bayerischen Eisenbahngesellschaft (BEG) im Auftrag des Bayerischen Staatsministeriums für Wohnen, Bau und Verkehr betrieben. Der Funktionsumfang von MoBY entwickelt sich stetig weiter, laufend kommen neue digitale Services hinzu. Für den Fahrgast bedeutet das: Informieren, planen, buchen und bezahlen – alles in einer App und immer up to date. Wesentlicher Leistungsumfang Fahrplanauskunft: MoBY liefert adressgenaue Tür-zu-Tür-Verbindungen mit Bahn, Bus und ergänzenden Mobilitätsangeboten wie Sharing- und On-Demand-Diensten. Die App kennt nahezu 50.000 bayerische Bahn- und Bushaltestellen und informiert über Abfahrten und Ankünfte an der vom Nutzer ausgewählten Haltestelle oder in seiner Umgebung – in der Regel auf Basis von Echtzeitdaten, die potentielle Verspätungen oder Ausfälle berücksichtigen. Über eine Karte lassen sich die aktuellen Positionen der meisten Verkehrsmittel live mitverfolgen. Häufig genutzte Verbindungen lassen sich als Favoriten speichern und mit einem Klick abrufen. Haltestellen, Linien und geplante Fahrten überwacht MoBY auf Wunsch und informiert Reisende per Push‑Nachricht über aktuelle Meldungen. Tickets: MoBY-Nutzer können über die App das Deutschlandticket und das bayerische Ermäßigungsticket für Auszubildende, Studierende und Freiwilligendienstleistende buchen und bezahlen. Darüber hinaus sind beliebte regionale Tagestickets wie das Bayern-Ticket Tag/Nacht, diverse Regio-Tickets und die Fahrrad-Tageskarte Bayern in MoBY erhältlich. Für Fahrten innerhalb der Verkehrsverbünde MVV und VGN bietet die App ebenfalls ein Sortiment an Einzel- und Tagestickets. Schritt für Schritt kommen weitere Ticketangebote hinzu. Anschlussvormeldung: Reisende können bei Umsteigeverbindungen mit Regionalzügen ihre Anschlusswünsche mit nur einem Klick über die App vormelden. Bei einer verspäteten Ankunft erhalten die Nutzer rechtzeitig vor dem geplanten Umstieg eine Rückmeldung, ob der Anschlusszug voraussichtlich warten kann.

The VGI app is the free companion for your smartphone for timetable information and e-ticketing of the Verkehrsverbund Großraum Ingolstadt (VGI). With just a few clicks, the VGI app helps you to find a journey by bus, train or our on-demand service "VGI Flexi" in the whole association area. If you don't know where the next stop is, you can also use our door-to-door navigation. Our timetable information is real-time based and shows you the current delay or cancellations, as well as diversions/route closures. Also you can buy easily and conveniently a ticket as an e-ticket for a selected connection and show it in the vehicle on your smartphone. Available payment options are SEPA direct debit, credit card, PayPal and ApplePay. If you want to do that, the app must query the list of installed calendars. The app doesn’t read calendar entries. • Access to your address book so the program has access to your contacs. By select-ing a contact, the corresponding stored address is being used for the start/destination. When searching a connection, the given address is used for the request of start/destination - here, the system can not distinguish if the address has been selected from contacts or has been typed in manually. These permissions are only used within the mobile terminal device for the started purposes. The call list will not read by the app. You can adapt permissions in the settings and use our app without these functions.
