Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Diamond Brickout at 5.0 against Knockball's 4.7. Diamond Brickout also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Knockball's advantage is ratings volume (45 vs 3). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Knockball sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Diamond Brickout sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Diamond Brickout holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Knockball has 45 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 91% of Knockball's written reviews are positive against 83% of Diamond Brickout's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Knockball ships an update every 2 months, Diamond Brickout every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
