If you need to track your nutrient intake, this application is designed to assist you by focusing on the few nutrient matching your profile. For example, if you have a kidney disease, that avocado might not be such a good idea once you’ve seen the amount of potassium one fruit contains! The available profiles are: Diabetes, Pregnant woman, Hypertension, Lipids and Kidney disease. There’s also a generic profile to display what’s usually found on a nutritive facts label. There’s also a favorite list, where you can add (or remove) the food you often go back to... like a nice chocolate milk. Should you? That’s when Nutrient Wise will be handy! Nutritionists can use this application as a reference. The data is adapted from the 2010 Canadian Nutrient File assembled by Health Canada. You can also change the language on the fly.
