This limited version includes 14 screen choices: yes-no, A-B-C, 1-2-3-4-5, Happy-Mad-Sad-Calm, Day-Night, bullying, weather, colors, fruits, letter sounds. Buttons contain text and/or picture so non-reading students can participate. By default, left- and right-arrow buttons allow students to switch screens. Optionally, the screen-switching buttons can be hidden and the adult switches screens by sliding one finger from the upper right to the lower left of the screen. Choices2Go is an iPad app that provides visual, in-the-moment choice making opportunities for people who might not otherwise be reliably understood, e.g., emergent communicators. It does this by facilitating rapid creation of "choice boards" by a caregiver, using images from the Photos library or Camera Roll. Emergent communicators touch their choice, which is then highlighted for several seconds. App features: + Create visual choice boards in seconds + Select from custom images, including albums and the Camera Roll + Instantly access a pre-built Yes/No board + Shake to scramble image order + Clean and simple user interface! + Save created choice boards locally + Load saved choice boards + Yes/No voice confirmation + Mute sound option Choices2Go was developed by CanAssist at the University of Victoria, in collaboration with a Speech Language Pathologist from Communication Assistance for Youth and Adults (CAYA).
