Το VAT Pro είναι η πρώτη εφαρμογή-πελάτης για την πρόσβαση στη νέα υπηρεσία Βασικών Στοιχείων Μητρώου της ΓΓΠΣ, που είναι διαθέσιμη στο κοινό από αρχές Μαΐου 2014. Η χρήση της νέας υπηρεσίας προϋποθέτει εγγραφή και έκδοση κωδικών από τη ΓΓΠΣ, υπόκειται σε Πολιτική Ορθής Χρήσης με όριο ελέγχων ΑΦΜ ανά μήνα, και είναι επώνυμη: το σύστημα ξέρει ποιός χρησιμοποιεί την υπηρεσία και ο κάτοχος του ελεγχόμενου ΑΦΜ θα μάθει ότι ζητήθηκαν πληροφορίες και από ποιόν. Πέρα από αυτή τη βασική λειτουργία, η εφαρμογή ενσωματώνει και όλη τη λειτουργικότητα της δωρεάν εφαρμογής VAT CheckMachine, δηλαδή: • Ελέγχει άμεσα όλους τους ευρωπαϊκούς αριθμούς ΦΠΑ, ώστε να μπορείτε να εκδώσετε ενδοκοινοτικά τιμολόγια με μηδενικό ΦΠΑ. • Κάνει άμεσα υπολογισμούς πρόσθεσης και αφαίρεσης του ΦΠΑ από οποιοδήποτε ποσό, ενώ το πληκτρολογείτε, και υποστηρίζει όλους τους συντελεστές όλων των ευρωπαϊκών χωρών. Οι αριθμοί ΑΦΜ και ΦΠΑ που ελέγχονται, μπορούν να προστίθενται στο Ιστορικό αυτόματα ή χειροκίνητα (ελέγχεται από τις Ρυθμίσεις της εφαρμογής). Σημείωση: Οι διαδικτυακές λειτουργίες εξαρτώνται από τη διαθεσιμότητα της νέας υπηρεσίας Βασικών Στοιχείων Μητρώου (ΓΓΠΣ) και της υπηρεσίας VIES.
