Farm Tools Farm Tools is the essential calculator app for farmers, agronomists, and anyone who works the land. Built for speed and simplicity, it puts the math you do every day right in your pocket. Estimated Yield Estimate corn yield before harvest using the ear-count method. Enter row spacing and kernel counts from sample ears and get an instant bushels-per-acre estimate. Bin Capacity Calculate grain bin storage in bushels. Enter the bin diameter and wall height and the app accounts for the cone at the base for an accurate total. Sprayer Calculators Dial in your application rates on the fly. Calculate injection rate, volume required, and gallons per hour — enter any two known values and get the third instantly. Ohm's Law Solve voltage, current, resistance, and wattage calculations in the field. Enter any two values and the other two are solved automatically — handy for electric fencing, sensors, and equipment wiring. Pulley / Drive Calculate pulley RPM and sheave sizes for belt-driven equipment. Enter any three values and the unknown is solved for you. Tank Volume Find the volume of round or square tanks in gallons. Supports cylinders, horizontal tanks, and rectangular containers. Field Coverage Calculate field area in acres from length and width. Great for estimating product needed and tracking coverage. GPS Location View your current coordinates and position on a map. Useful for recording field locations, fence corners, and equipment positions. Yield Calculator A quick general-purpose yield and harvest calculator. Clean, fast, and works offline. No subscriptions. Cornell Pump Toolkit The right mobile app to answer your questions about centrifugal pumps! This mobile app can be used to calculate: · Total Dynamic Head · Net Positive Suction Head · Friction Loss · And, save and share your calculations Plus, suggest pumps from Cornell’s robust and efficient catalog to meet your system needs. Cornell Pump Toolkit can be used on Apple devices—allowing functionality without needing to be connected to the internet. The application is free—ideal for use by project managers, engineers, operators, mechanics, and distributors in agricultural, industrial, municipal, mining, and rental applications. Please Note: Cornell Toolkit is used as an approximating tool for pumps and systems. While the Cornell Toolkit has been examined by Cornell staff, including professional engineers, and found to be accurate, Cornell offers more detailed and precise calculations through tools available on our website. Cornell Toolkit is a quick check for in field operations, and narrowing pump selections. Calculations are made assuming 60 degree Fahrenheit water; water at significantly different temperatures or liquids with different specific gravity may yield substantially divergent results. Piping friction loss is calculated using Hazen-Williams hydraulic equations—as the diameter of pipes get smaller than 3” or larger than 12” there is less accuracy in the calculation that is not corrected by the toolkit. Care should be used in comparing smaller or larger piping with the toolkit.
