Plan your batting order and defence in minutes, then adjust every assignment to suit your players, competition and coaching priorities. Baseball Coach Assistant helps coaches plan batting orders, build defensive rotations, record games and track player opportunities across a season or tournament. Plan Your Defence on the Diamond Tap or drag players onto the field, choose when positions change, and lock players in place. Generate Suggestion builds a complete rotation for a Regular Team or Tournament Team using: • Available players • Ready and Developing positions • Planned field and bench time • Previous defensive opportunities • Your Team Rules and pitcher and catcher settings Every suggestion remains editable. The Plan Check flags anything to review, but never blocks you. A Better Mix for Every Player Regular Team rotations give each player a balanced mix of infield and outfield, share outfield and bench time fairly, and work for short games changing every inning or longer games changing every 2 innings. Tips for a Better Mix explains which settings are holding a rotation back, with a one-tap fix for that game. Competitive Defence When the game calls for it, choose Competitive. Your best-rated players take the key positions using Ready positions only, while minimum play is still met. Team Rules Set your league and local rules once, including minimum play, re-entry and pitcher return. Re-entry can be changed for a single game. Tournament Weekends Choose the number of games and innings per game, and generate a weekend rotation of up to 55 innings with one tap. Create Suggested Batting Orders Choose a strategy that reflects your coaching objective: • Fair Play • Balanced • Competitive • On-Base and Speed • Contact First • Power • Development Suggestions can use coach ratings, recorded results, recent performance and previous batting-order opportunities. Track Fair Play Opportunities Monitor more than total innings played: • Defensive and bench innings • Infield and outfield opportunities • Premium-infield opportunities • Batting-order history • Position variety These insights support coaching judgement. Record Games Record batting results, defensive positions by inning, scores, pitch counts, runs, RBIs, stolen bases, hits, walks and strikeouts, with scorebook symbols beside each box and a Reached on Error / Fielder's Choice count. Saved games contribute to player statistics, season totals, game highlights and factual areas to review. Track Pitching Workloads Record pitch totals from one central screen. Review each player's latest-day total, current workload-period total and most recent pitching date. Coaches remain responsible for official competition rules, required rest, fatigue, soreness and player wellbeing. Print and Share Game Plans Create scorer-friendly PDFs arranged in batting-order sequence. Print the plan, save it to Files, use AirDrop or share it with another coach. Keep Control of Team Data Team information is stored locally on the device. Export a complete backup containing the roster, ratings, position readiness, saved games, statistics, pitch counts and Fair Play history. Imported backups create separate teams and never silently overwrite existing records. Backup files may contain junior-player information and should be stored securely. Subscription and Read-Only Access An active monthly subscription unlocks team management, player editing, defensive planning, game recording and ongoing season tools. If the subscription ends, existing teams, rosters, saved games, statistics, Fair Play records and pitching history remain available in read-only mode. Baseball Coach Assistant. The app suggests.
