Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: The Lost Sky at 5.0 against QuestLord's 4.6. The Lost Sky also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 8 months) and price ($2.99 vs $5.99). QuestLord's advantage is ratings volume (167 vs 1) and chart position (#128 vs unranked). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

The Lost Sky holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QuestLord has 167 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of QuestLord's written reviews are positive against 71% of The Lost Sky's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

QuestLord ships an update every 8 months, The Lost Sky monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
