Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: A Tribuna at 3.0 against Noticias do Dia's 2.0. Noticias do Dia's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and review sentiment (26% vs 9%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. A Tribuna sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Noticias do Dia asks for nothing beyond the download.
A Tribuna holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 9% of A Tribuna's written reviews are positive against 26% of Noticias do Dia's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
