Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: SA Geo at 5.0 against PE Games's 3.9. SA Geo also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 67%). PE Games's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (20 vs 3). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PE Games sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and SA Geo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
SA Geo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PE Games has 20 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of PE Games's written reviews are positive against 100% of SA Geo's.
PE Games ships an update every 8 days, SA Geo every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
