Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: iPhotoCanvas at 87% against Canvas Print™'s 30%. Canvas Print™'s advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (325 vs 22). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Canvas Print™ holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Canvas Print™ has 325 ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of iPhotoCanvas's written reviews are positive against 30% of Canvas Print™'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
iPhotoCanvas ships an update every 6 weeks, Canvas Print™ every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
