Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Defyx at 4.4 against CCloud's 3.0. Defyx also leads on review sentiment (81% vs 43%) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 4 months). CCloud's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

CCloud ships an update every 4 months, Defyx every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
