Layer Date is for gay men in Lisbon who are ready for a long term relationship. Not a hookup. Not a situationship. Not months of chatting that goes nowhere. A real, long term relationship with someone who wants the same thing. Every part of Layer Date is designed around that one goal. EVERYONE HERE WANTS A RELATIONSHIP Every member is reviewed by a real person before going live. Profiles looking for something casual are not accepted. When you match with someone, you already know you're both looking for something that lasts. GET TO KNOW HIM FIRST Profiles start blurred. You read about who he is, what he values and what he's looking for, then decide who to reveal. Relationships last because of who someone is, so that's where Layer Date starts. QUALITY OVER QUANTITY You see 6 profiles a day. It's enough to find someone worth talking to, without the endless scrolling that makes dating feel disposable. REAL CONVERSATIONS, NOT A HUNDRED OPEN CHATS You can have up to 3 conversations at a time. It keeps your attention on the men you're actually interested in, and theirs on you. REAL MEN, REAL PROFILES Every member verifies with a short video. No bots, no fake accounts, no AI generated photos. Profiles need real photos and real words about who you are. LESS TIME IN THE APP, MORE TIME TOGETHER Layer Date is deliberately slow. The goal isn't to keep you swiping. It's to help you meet someone and not need a dating app anymore. FAIR BY DEFAULT Layer Date is free. If we ever charge, it will only be members who are already getting results, never a paywall that punishes people who haven't found anyone yet. LISBON ONLY Every profile is someone you could actually meet. After approval, your profile may be held briefly until there are enough compatible men for you to see. Questions?
