This SOS application is part of the Planinarenje.ba project and was created to facilitate the rescue of mountaineers in trouble. After the installation itself, you need to do two things: • Register (profile icon) where you need to fill in all mandatory fields • Register, i.e. you are logged in (profile icon) If you find yourself in trouble, you should start the application and click on the red SOS button in the middle of the screen. The application will ask you for some more essential information about your current state and generate two SMS messages with your current location. You send the first to the ICE contact, and the second to the Mountain Rescue Service. You do not need internet (mobile data) to send an SMS message, but its length is limited to 160 characters, so please do not add anything in the messaging application, but just click the send button. If the number of 160 characters is exceeded, the message becomes an MMS and mobile data is required to send it. You cannot see the text of the message for GSS because it is encoded in the link. In this way, GSS will get a lot more information about you. If you change anything in the SMS, the link will not be valid and the information will not be delivered correctly.
