Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Days at 4.8 against MyCountdown's 3.3. Days also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (12K vs 4). MyCountdown's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

MyCountdown ships an update every 6 weeks, Days every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
