Make a list once and use it again. Organize packing, shopping and daily to-dos with nested items, your own templates and quick check resets. Core features are free; ad removal is a one-time purchase. ■ Organize items into lists and sublists Group items by category: Trip → Clothes → Shirts and socks. Parent and child items keep longer lists organized, and you can reorder items to suit your plans. ■ Reuse your lists Save a frequently used list as a template for your next shopping trip or vacation. Copy items or entire lists instead of entering everything again. ■ See what is left to do Checking a parent item also checks its children. Switch between To-Do and All to see the remaining items. Use Uncheck All to reset your list for next time. ■ Everyday conveniences Add items continuously, search your lists, and move or copy items. Use Dark Mode and a badge showing the number of unchecked items. Export lists to Notes, email or other apps to share them. ■ Remove ads with a one-time purchase Core features are free. Premium removes ads with a one-time purchase, not a subscription. After changing devices, use Restore Purchases with the Apple Account used for your purchase. Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Simple Checklist at none against Checklist's shown. Simple Checklist also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Checklist's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (2.9K vs 12). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Checklist sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Simple Checklist sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Checklist against 4.7 for Simple Checklist. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Checklist has 2.9K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 68% of Checklist's written reviews are positive against 62% of Simple Checklist's.
Checklist ships an update every 9 days, Simple Checklist every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
