Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Run Things at 5.0 against Women’s Running's 4.4. Run Things also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 14) and review sentiment (100% vs 75%). Women’s Running's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
