Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: School Countdown at every 2 days against ClassLink LaunchPad's fortnightly. ClassLink LaunchPad's advantage is chart position (#134 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
