ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

FortiClient 6.0 holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FortiClient 6.0 has 492 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of FortiClient 6.0's written reviews are positive against 100% of Jamf Reset's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

FortiClient 6.0 ships an update every 2 months, Jamf Reset every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
