Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: FTPManager at 4.5 against Sony Pictures Connect's 3.6. FTPManager also leads on ratings volume (2.6K vs 34) and review sentiment (48% vs 33%). Sony Pictures Connect's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
