Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: OKTAGON at none against Oneplay's 2. OKTAGON also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). Oneplay's advantage is ratings volume (369 vs 2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Oneplay sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. OKTAGON asks for nothing beyond the download.
OKTAGON holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Oneplay has 369 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of Oneplay's written reviews are positive against 0% of OKTAGON's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Oneplay ships an update fortnightly, OKTAGON every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
