Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: AppSystem.fr at 79% against News Widget's 18%. AppSystem.fr also leads on rating (4.6 vs 3.6) and update cadence (every 4 months vs every 8 months). News Widget's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
