About

Their First Counting

A duck finds its place. A flower blooms. A teddy bear takes a seat. With every tap, a number is spoken aloud and your child can see the quantity grow. Their First Counting is a playful counting app for toddlers and preschoolers ages 2 to 5. Explore every number from 1 to 100 through five illustrated activities, with no levels to unlock or pressure to finish. FIVE WAYS TO PLAY • Ducks: fill a floating raft, one duck at a time. • Flowers: make a garden bloom as you count. • Train: give teddy bears a seat in a colorful carriage. • Hops: follow a frog along a numbered path. • Berries: fill a basket with strawberries. SMALL STEPS, BIG NUMBERS Start with a few objects, or explore larger quantities together. Each counting place has its own number. Separate counters show how many have been counted and how many there are to count. Count one at a time. For totals above 10, pictured buttons also let you add five or ten. Ducks, flowers, bears, and berries gather in groups of ten, with the final group showing exactly what is left. Completed groups stay visible above the active scene. Finish with a burst of confetti, then count again or choose the next number. HEAR NUMBERS IN NINE LANGUAGES Switch both the interface and spoken numbers to English, Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese, German, Italian, Korean, Russian, or Tagalog. Korean includes native and Sino-Korean number systems. Spoken numbers are the only audio, so there is no music or sound effects competing with the count. MADE FOR LITTLE EXPLORERS • Simple taps, clear pictures, and room to explore at your own pace. • Every number and activity included, completely free. • No ads, in-app purchases, subscriptions, accounts, scores, or timers. • All artwork and number audio included for offline play. • No analytics or tracking. The app remembers the language and last selected number on the device; it does not save or send counting progress. • Website and support links in a grown-ups area behind a two-second hold. • Portrait layouts for phones and tablets. Pick a number, choose a scene, and count together.
