Ringtone Maker turns a sound you already have into a ringtone, alarm or alert tone for your iPhone. It is free, there is no subscription, and there is nothing to buy. Start from a song in Files, pull the audio out of a video in your Photos library, record your own voice, or pick one of the built-in sound effects. Trim it to the part you actually want, split it, fade it, adjust the volume and speed, then export a ringtone-ready file and follow the guided steps to set it on your iPhone. WHERE YOUR SOUND COMES FROM - Import audio from Files: songs, voice memos, anything your iPhone can play. - Extract the audio from any video in your Photos library. - Record your own voice or live sound with the microphone. - Choose from a built-in sound effects library covering notifications, alarms, transitions, game and sci-fi sounds, office cues, percussion, nature and ambient tones, and more. - Keep imports in Materials and reuse them across projects. EDIT ON A VISUAL TIMELINE - Trim to the exact section you want, against a waveform you can see. - Split a clip at the playhead and delete what you do not need. - Fade in and fade out. - Adjust volume and playback speed, from 0.5x to 2x. - Snap to the timeline, loop the preview, and undo or redo anything. SET IT ON YOUR IPHONE iOS does not let a third-party app set your ringtone in one tap, so Ringtone Maker walks you through whichever route fits you: - Open in GarageBand. The app builds the GarageBand project for you. - Use as Ringtone from the iOS share sheet, on iOS 26 and later. - Sync from your Mac with Finder. STAY ORGANIZED - Every export is kept in the app, searchable, and filed under Ringtones, Alarm or a category you create yourself. - Projects and audio stay on your device. Your recordings and imports are never uploaded. FREE, SUPPORTED BY ADS Ringtone Maker is free to use. A short ad covers each export, and your ringtone is saved as soon as it finishes. Every editing feature is available to everyone: nothing is locked behind a purchase. Some setup steps need GarageBand or the iOS Settings app. You are responsible for holding the rights to any audio or video you import. The five bars in the Bach invention had been fighting back all week. This morning she opened PracticeBell, tapped the Invention No. 8 checkpoint, and played the passage once at ninety-two beats per minute. It came out ragged, so she graded the take Uneven, named Pulse as the cause, and wrote one line: the right hand rushed the turn. Two clean runs later the checkpoint advanced her four beats and spelled out what to rehearse next. She warmed up against the metronome, pushed the tempo ramp until her scales held, tuned one shaky arrival against the drone, then logged the session to the piece. A handful of honest records, and tomorrow knew where to begin. PracticeBell is built around that loop: name a real problem, gather honest evidence, and let the counts decide when tempo is allowed to rise. - Passage Bench turns a bar range into a checkpoint with a tempo floor, a target, an advance step, and a clean-run gate - Grade every take as Clean, Uneven, or Breakdown, tag its musical cause, and read a deterministic next-session instruction - Metronome with time signatures, subdivisions, accent patterns, tap tempo, and selectable click voices - Tempo Ramp and Gap Trainer for gradual speed work and internal-time recovery - Records live in a private local store; PracticeBell adds no advertising or analytics SDKs and asks for no sign-in, and the microphone feeds only the live tuner - Chromatic tuner and sustained drone for intonation, with scale, interval, and tempo-term references - Piece library holding composer, key, signature, BPM target, status, and per-piece history - Plan Lab, routines, tempo programs, goals, streaks, and CSV or PDF export of your own sessions
