1+1 helps to teach children how to add numbers from 1 to 10. The app doesn't use any words, so it can be used by children in any language. The app has been tested by teachers — you will find the references inside the app, under "references". The app has eight levels, from BEGINNER to INSANE. Each level has nine games, its own tasks and its own trophy — 72 games and eight trophies in all. The levels up to HARD already cover all 45 addition tasks from 1 to 10; CHAMPION and INSANE are an extra challenge on top. Our apps are based on a modification of the Leitner system: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flashcard This means that a task comes back until the child answers it correctly. The app also remembers every task the child has ever got wrong and brings it back later; in the two highest levels, part of every game is drawn from that list. This is how the answers stay in the child's memory, so real learning happens. If the child answers all the tasks of a game correctly, the game is finished, and the next game opens only when the score is high enough. Every game can earn up to three stars. To earn the third star, the child has to play the game again, this time without the help of the animals. • Eight levels with nine games each, and a trophy for every level • Every player has their own name, their own scores and their own settings • Two settings per child: how many different tasks one game holds, and how often a task comes back • The scores can be reset, so that a child can repeat the lessons later, or another child can do the exercises • No advertising from third parties • No account and no registration • Links out of the app only behind a parental gate Please note that our apps are real educational apps, made, among others, for the classroom and for homework. In our apps the education is more important than fun. Our apps are more like doing homework than playing a game, so finishing them can be some work for a child. It might be helpful if the parents or teachers support the child's motivation. The reward for the work is that the child will master all addition tasks up to 10 without any problems. We would very much appreciate any feedback from you: info@creasoft.app Recommended for ages 6 - 8

Listening Power Intermediate provides over 1000 listening practice questions on a variety of Apple devices (iPhone, iPad and Macbook). Designed by Patti Hamaguchi, MA, CCC-SLP, a licensed speech-language pathologist and developer of the popular Fun with Directions app, it is perfect for children at a language age of 5 through 12 or any child learning English. Does your child need practice listening or working on receptive language concepts? Is auditory processing of language concepts difficult? Listening Power Intermediate was designed for children with delayed language comprehension, AD/HD, weak listening or auditory processing, autism, and English language learners but ANY child can enjoy these fun activities to strengthen listening! Children with CAPD (central auditory processing disorder) can practice listening to stories with simulated background noise as an option to build their ability to "tune out" noise distractions and improve their auditory figure-ground skills. By turning on the “text on” feature, it can also be used for reading decoding/comprehension as well! This app should ideally be played with an adult who can teach and cue the child when appropriate during the activities and make the proper settings selections. As with all screen time, app play should be limited. A perfect app for speech-language therapy and reinforcing auditory skills! Data collection results can be emailed, saved or printed. Stories and questions also available for printing out for further practice. There are 5 activities in the app: Listening for Descriptions: Adjectives such as longest/shortest, empty/full, curly/straight, between, etc. Intermediate: Find the blue bird with an orange beak that is sitting on a nest. 50 questions for each level. Listening for Stories (Narrative language!): Easy level: A story is read with accompanying pictures and sound effects, followed by questions about the story such as who, what, and where questions. Intermediate has pictures at beginning/end only and more challenging questions. Advanced: Only pictures for non-fiction narratives, science fiction stories. 25 Stories for each level, with 5 questions each. Total 375 Use "custom select" to find stories that interest your child.
