LamiPal is the laminitis companion that shows its working. Every morning it tells you your horse's risk, the lowest-sugar time to turn out and what to do today, built on published research and, if you have one, a lab analysis of the grass and hay your horse actually eats. MEASURED, NOT GUESSED Weather can only estimate what is in the grass. LamiPal goes further: enter a lab analysis of your pasture, hay or haylage and the measured sugar goes straight into your horse's score, in place of our estimate. • Judged against the 10% sugar-and-starch guideline from the European consensus on equine metabolic syndrome • A pasture reading follows the field, so every horse grazing it benefits • A hay or haylage batch can be attached to every horse that eats it • For an overweight horse, the consensus weight-loss ration in kilos, weighed before soaking • The range soaking might achieve, with the honest caveat that only a re-test can tell you • Reminders when a field or batch is due a fresh sample EVERY MORNING • A clear daily laminitis risk score for each horse • The lowest-sugar time to turn out, with a curve showing how grass sugar builds through the day • What to do today: practical steps, each with the reason and the research behind it • A 3-day forecast so you can plan ahead • Alerts on High and Very High days, with frost mornings flagged EVERY NUMBER, EXPLAINED Tap "Why this score?" and see exactly what is pushing risk up or down, how it adds up and the research each part is built on. The horse factors come from a British study of nearly 1,000 horses (Pollard et al. 2019), the feeding guidance from the European consensus (Durham et al. 2019), and the daily sugar pattern from research on temperate grasses (Kagan 2022). Where the evidence stops, we say so. BUILT AROUND YOUR HORSE Breed, previous laminitis, EMS, PPID, weight and condition, plus each paddock's grass, management and location. Add a muzzle, strip grazing or hay before turnout and the score reflects it. The more LamiPal knows, the sharper the score. KEEP A RECORD YOUR VET CAN USE • Log weight, body condition, cresty neck and digital pulses in seconds • Keep bloods, X-rays and farrier visits in one place • Record an episode, with clear guidance on when to call your vet • See risk, weight and condition trends over time, with plain-English analysis • Share a vet-ready history in one tap, or send it straight to your linked farrier or vet ALWAYS ON TOP OF IT Reminders for the farrier, worm egg counts, vet checks, medication and forage re-tests, so nothing slips. YOUR WHOLE YARD Every horse scored for today, and yard sharing so everyone on the livery sees the same picture. LEARN WHAT MATTERS Short, sourced articles on frosty mornings, soaking hay, muzzles, cresty necks and the signs to act on, written in plain English. OUR MISSION To be the most complete laminitis care companion for every horse owner: built on the research, honest about where it stops, and always there when you need to make the call. LamiPal is an informational tool and does not replace veterinary advice. Laminitis is an emergency: if you suspect it, call your vet straight away. Terms of Use: https://lamipal.com/terms
