Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Biocell at none against REBALL's shown. Biocell also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 9 months) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. REBALL sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Biocell sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Biocell holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 41 and 62 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of REBALL's written reviews are positive against 77% of Biocell's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
REBALL ships an update every 9 months, Biocell monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
