Pause for Peace is a free meditation companion from Meditation Museum (Brahma Kumaris), with centers in Silver Spring, Maryland and Chantilly, Virginia. When life feels uncertain, a short pause can change the rest of your day. Pause for Peace helps you stop, breathe and return to the calm that is already within you. - I need a pause: choose 1, 5 or 10 minutes of gentle guided breathing, in silence, with soft music, or with a guided meditation by Sister Jenna. - Guided meditations: 41 meditations by Sister Jenna in four groups: Inner Peace, Stress Relief, On the Go, and Sleep & Rest. They play offline and keep playing with the screen locked. - Traffic Control: stop for one minute, a few times a day, to calm the traffic of thoughts. Rest on a virtue as the light breathes slowly, with gentle music and reminders every hour or at the times you choose. - Silent Timer: sit in stillness for 5 to 30 minutes, with a breathing guide, in silence, with soft music, or with Sister Jenna. - No ticking clock: a soft ring fills as you pause, so you can let go of time. Tap to see the time left. - My Calm: watch your pauses build day by day toward a gentle daily goal. Kept only on your phone. - Journal: give yourself a blessing and send it to yourself, or let out what you are going through. Entries stay private on your device and fade away after 1, 5 or 10 days. - Virtue Wheel: spin to receive one of 36 virtues, with a simple practice for the day. - Thought for today: 365 thoughts, one for each day of the year, each with a small practice. - Meditation on Wheels: invite our mobile meditation studio to your workplace, campus or community event. - Free events and classes at both centers. - Support for hard times, including the 988 Lifeline and the Veterans Crisis Line. - Light and dark: a white-and-gold look by day and a soft dark look by night. Works on iPhone and iPad. Free. No account. No ads. No tracking. Meditation Museum offers free meditation classes and events to help people experience inner peace and positive change. - Apple Watch: breathing pauses with gentle taps, Traffic Control, a silent timer and guided meditations to your AirPods, with Double Tap and a watch-face complication. - Podcast: listen to America Meditating Radio with Sister Jenna, search episodes and continue where you left off. Everyone is welcome.

Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pause for Peace at 100% against Voice's 50%. Pause for Peace also leads on rating (5.0 vs 1.0) and ads (none vs shown). Voice's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
