Praying with prayer ropes is one of the oldest ways of saying prayers, and is still used today by both monks and laymen in the Eastern Orthodox Church. This practice inspired us to create Prayer Rope for iOS. The app's interface is designed to be as unobtrusive as possible while still being functional. To count the prayers as they are said, simply swipe a finger across the screen or tap the beads. Both visual and tactile feedback are provided. The app will highlight the next "bead", show the current prayer count, and optionally, vibrate the device. • Select from a variety of prayers, in English, Greek, and Russian • Choose the virtual length of your prayer rope • Track your prayer count

Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Prayer Rope at 100% against Ancient Faith's 43%. Prayer Rope also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.9) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.4). Ancient Faith's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 43 months) and ratings volume (198 vs 8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
