Welcome to the amazing world of solitaire! Solitaire, also known as Klondike, is one of the most played patience games in the world. Now you can enjoy it anytime, and anywhere, on your mobile phone or tablet. Share your Solitaire scores with your friends on Facebook and Twitter. From Odesys, the makers of the best solitaire games for mobile. The goal of Solitaire is to split all cards in the deck into four home stacks, one for each suit. The cards in the home stacks must be placed in ascending order, from Ace to King. Moves to a column must be made in descending order, alternating colors. Multiple cards can be moved from one column to another as long as they are properly ordered. Only a sequence of cards starting with a King can be moved to an empty column. Odesys Solitaire Features: • Standard and Vegas scoring • Landscape and portrait orientation • Unlimited Undo and Redo • Solvable deals only mode • 1-Tap play mode • Left and Right board layout • Adjustable cards size (pinch-to-zoom) • Sound • Hints • Timer • Animations • Auto save on exit • Auto collect Follow us on Twitter: @OdesysSolitaire Look for other great patience games by Odesys. If you like the classics, you would love Klondike Solitaire, FreeCell Solitaire, Spider Solitaire, or its lesser known variations, Black Widow Solitaire and Tarantula Solitaire. You might also like to try Pyramid Solitaire, or its somewhat easier variation, Seven Solitaire, or the completely open Giza Solitaire. No solitaire collection would be complete without the unique Golf Solitaire, the addictive Yukon Solitaire, or its almost impossible to solve cousin, Russian Solitaire.

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Solitaire at none against Solitaire Now's shown. Solitaire also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and rating (4.8 vs 4.4). Solitaire Now's advantage is review sentiment (86% vs 75%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Solitaire holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 16 and 53 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Solitaire Now's written reviews are positive against 75% of Solitaire's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Solitaire Now ships an update every 4 months, Solitaire every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
