Welcome to the amazing world of solitaire! Solitaire, also known as Klondike, is one of the most played patience games in the world. Now you can enjoy it anytime, and anywhere, on your mobile phone or tablet. Share your Solitaire scores with your friends on Facebook and Twitter. From Odesys, the makers of the best solitaire games for mobile. The goal of Solitaire is to split all cards in the deck into four home stacks, one for each suit. The cards in the home stacks must be placed in ascending order, from Ace to King. Moves to a column must be made in descending order, alternating colors. Multiple cards can be moved from one column to another as long as they are properly ordered. Only a sequence of cards starting with a King can be moved to an empty column. Odesys Solitaire Features: • Standard and Vegas scoring • Landscape and portrait orientation • Unlimited Undo and Redo • Solvable deals only mode • 1-Tap play mode • Left and Right board layout • Adjustable cards size (pinch-to-zoom) • Sound • Hints • Timer • Animations • Auto save on exit • Auto collect Follow us on Twitter: @OdesysSolitaire Look for other great patience games by Odesys. A simple and smooth version of the classic card game, Klondike Solitaire, optimized for smartphones! Enjoy the familiar classic Solitaire experience with controls designed for comfortable smartphone play. Move cards with a single tap and use convenient assist buttons for an even smoother experience. Perfect for a little brain training while commuting, waiting, or whenever you have a few minutes to spare! How to Play: In Klondike Solitaire, the goal is to move all the playing cards to the Foundation piles in order from Ace to King. On the tableau, cards can be stacked in descending order while alternating between red and black. Only a King can be placed in an empty column. Draw new cards from the stock, uncover face-down cards, organize the tableau, and move all the cards to the Foundations to win. Tips: * Prioritize columns with many face-down cards and try to uncover them as early as possible. * Use cards from the stock when they allow you to make a useful move, or when you have no other moves available. * If the initial layout leaves you unable to uncover even a single card, starting a new game may be the best choice. * You can enable an optional button for drawing cards from the stock, so you don't have to reach all the way to the edge of the screen every time.

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Simple at 4.7 against Solitaire Now's 4.4. Simple also leads on ratings volume (706 vs 16). Solitaire Now's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Simple holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Simple has 706 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Solitaire Now's written reviews are positive against 80% of Simple's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Solitaire Now ships an update every 4 months, Simple every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
