Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Numberplace ZERO at none against Sudoku Revolution's 6. Numberplace ZERO also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Sudoku Revolution's advantage is ratings volume (33 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Numberplace ZERO holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sudoku Revolution has 33 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Sudoku Revolution's written reviews are positive against 80% of Numberplace ZERO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
