SwitchTrainer is an application designed to learn how to use one or two switches. The target groups are children with physical impairments or a learning disability. SwitchTrainer for iPad is available in 2 versions: - SwitchTrainer: Only a limited number of exercises can be used. An In-App Purchase is required to use all exercises. - SwitchTrainer PRO: All exercises can be used without limitation. The aim of the application – apart from having fun – is to automatize the use of one or two switches to finally be able to use 2-switch-scanning. The exercises offer a range of different possibilities to learn, train and implement the use of two switches. Create an interactive scene in a few moments: - Take a photo. - Outline the area where you want to create the interaction (hotspot). - Choose whether to play a sound by recording it with your voice. - Select whether to show a text or a symbol. Add multiple hotspots to the scene and you're done. Niki Scene is an effective tool for children or adults with autism or any disability that impairs the ability to communicate. The visualization of a symbol can be useful to create a correspondence with the real object represented in the photo.
