About

Aspire Tapas

Features

Aspire is a companion for tapas: a fixed-length commitment to daily yoga practice. It is built on a simple principle: your spiritual practice is nobody's business but yours. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Aspire has no account, no sign-up, no cloud, and no network access at all. It collects nothing: no analytics, no ads, no tracking, no third-party SDKs. Nothing you do in the app ever leaves your device. YOUR PRACTICE, IN PLAIN FILES Everything you create (commitments, daily practice log, reflections) is stored as human-readable files on your device, visible in the Files app. Your practice history is not locked inside a database or a subscription: you can read it, back it up, move it to a new phone, or archive it forever. Delete the app and the data is gone; keep the files and the record of your practice outlives any app. DEFINE YOUR TAPAS Give your practice a name and an intention. Pick techniques from a built-in library of asanas and pranayamas (each mapped to its chakra), or add your own. Set how long each technique is held, or count repetitions instead. Choose the length of the commitment: a week, 21 days, 49 days, or anything you like. PRACTICE, GUIDED Each day, Aspire walks you through the session: an opening consecration, then each technique in turn, with a serene full-screen timer, gentle gongs between techniques, and optional music per technique from your own audio files. Sessions can be paused and resumed, and repetition-based techniques are counted with a tap. STAY ACCOUNTABLE The home screen shows every active commitment and whether today's practice is done. Miss a day and the tapas breaks, unless you allowed recuperation days when you defined it; then you can make up missed days before the commitment fails. A calendar shows every completed day at a glance. REFLECT AND COMPLETE When a tapas ends, record a short retrospective: how it felt, what impact it had, and tags you can compare across commitments. Finished tapas stay in your history, separate from your active practice. ALSO INCLUDED - A standalone meditation timer with presets and gong. - Fully offline. Airplane mode changes nothing.
