TechDraw min vs Papierfrei

TechDraw is a full-featured drawing application combining built-in geometric shapes with a text and equation editor. Drawing data can be transferred for collaborative work and backup, and drawings can be shared on the popular social media outlets. A full user manual is included in the app.

Papierfrei is a PDF toolkit and an archive in one: sign, highlight, convert – and your receipts, invoices, contracts and warranties sort themselves. NEW: ASK YOUR DOCUMENTS “When does the warranty on my washing machine end?” – Papierfrei searches your receipts and answers in one sentence, with the source. Long letters can be summarized in two or three sentences. It runs with Apple Intelligence right on your iPhone; nothing is uploaded. NEW: FILL IN PDF FORMS Tap a field, type, tick a box – and add your saved signature. EDIT PDFS – ON YOUR DEVICE • Sign: draw your signature once, keep it safely on the device, insert it with one tap • Highlight, underline and strike through – right on the line of text • Change text: tap a line and type over it, or add new text • Draw freely with your finger or Apple Pencil • Redact: the text underneath is truly removed • Rotate, delete, reorder and add pages, or split them into a separate PDF CONVERT WITH ONE TAP • PDF to Word (.docx) – even from scans, thanks to text recognition • Photos and scans to one PDF • Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Pages, Numbers and Keynote to PDF • PDF to images (JPG) and PDF to text • Shrink PDFs for email and uploads Nothing is uploaded – every conversion runs on your iPhone. AN ARCHIVE THAT SORTS ITSELF Throw in the whole pile: photos, scans, PDFs. Papierfrei reads the text, recognizes vendor, date and amount and puts every document in the right folder. Find anything later with full-text search – even words that only appear in a photo. EVERYTHING STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE Papierfrei has no server and no account. Text recognition, search and sorting run entirely on your iPhone. No sign-up, no ads, no tracking. Your documents only leave the device when you share them yourself. THROW IT IN INSTEAD OF FILING • File a stack: add everything at once, the app does the rest • Scan with the camera – several pages become one PDF • Import PDFs and photos from the Files app or your library • Folders for receipts, invoices, warranties, contracts, taxes and tradespeople • Your own folders with your own keywords – they fill themselves • Papierfrei learns from corrections: move a document once, and the next one from the same sender lands in the right place • Duplicates are detected before they reach the archive WARRANTIES UNDER CONTROL Enter how long the warranty runs. Papierfrei reminds you in good time. The reminder is scheduled locally on the device – no push service needed. YOUR DATA BELONGS TO YOU • Zip backup with all original files, any time and without a cloud • Share via the standard iOS share sheet • Deleting the app deletes the data – nothing is left anywhere For iPhone and iPad. Buy once – no subscription, no in-app purchases, no ads.
