Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: ZeroPunch at every 2 days against TrueLook's every 10 months. ZeroPunch also leads on ratings volume (11 vs 1) and review sentiment (50% vs 40%). TrueLook's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
TrueLook holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ZeroPunch has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of TrueLook's written reviews are positive against 50% of ZeroPunch's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
TrueLook ships an update every 10 months, ZeroPunch every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
