Formation Trainer teaches you to read a football play before the snap, the way coaches and analysts do. Every diagram is drawn from real positional data, so the pictures are precise, and the lessons are consistent. Study first, then test yourself. STUDY - Browse offensive formations with full details and clean chalk-talk diagrams. - Browse defenses: fronts and coverage shells, with the key players highlighted. - Short lessons on formation strength, the rules that make a formation legal, counting the defensive front, and reading coverage shells. - A positions glossary explaining what every offensive and defensive spot does. - A motion lesson showing how common pre-snap motions move and why. QUIZ - Pick the topics you want: personnel grouping, formation name, strength, formation legality, defensive front, coverage shell, box count, and defensive adjustments. - Every question shows the reasoning after you answer, and highlights the exact players that make the answer. - Choose a single focus or mix several topics. BUILT FOR LEARNING - Answers are grounded in universal principles, not guesswork. - Diagrams are generated from position data, so they stay accurate and readable. - Choose your naming system (generic, pro, and more) so names match how you talk about the game. PRIVATE BY DESIGN - Works fully offline. - No account, no ads, no tracking, and no data collection. Everything stays on your device. Formation Trainer is for fans who want to see more on every play, for players and coaches learning the language of the game, and for anyone who has ever wanted to take their eye off the ball and watch the whole field.
