iElastance
Read full descriptionHide full description
iElastance estimates left ventricular end-systolic elastance (Ees), effective arterial elastance (Ea) and their ratio, ventricular–arterial coupling (VAC), from six values you already have at the bedside: cuff pressures, a standard echocardiogram and two systolic time intervals. No catheter, no extra equipment. FREE • Single-beat calculator (Chen et al., J Am Coll Cardiol 2001): systolic and diastolic pressure, ejection fraction, stroke volume, pre-ejection and total ejection time. • Results update as you type, with checks on impossible values. • "How to measure" guide with diagrams of the method of disks and of systolic times on the LVOT pulsed Doppler. IELASTANCE PREMIUM • Pressure–volume diagram: ESPVR and Ea lines, stroke volume, ESP, EDV, ESV and V0. • Cases: keep your 10 most recent cases, each with as many measurements as you need (baseline, after fluids, after a vasopressor or inotrope…). • Trends of VAC, Ea and Ees over time. • PDF report with results, diagrams, measurement table, trends, method and reference, ready to print or share. • Archive export and import to move your cases to another device. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no analytics, no advertising. Cases and reports stay on your device. SUBSCRIPTION iElastance Premium is an auto-renewing yearly subscription with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Payment is charged to your App Store account at confirmation of purchase after the trial. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel it in your account settings. Valve PPM
This tool assists medical professionals in assessing implanted prosthetic cardiac valves. It offers guidance for checking existing valve function and selecting the optimal valve before implantation based on patient and prosthesis parameters.
- Assess implanted valve function
- Select optimal valve before implantation
- Analyze patient and prosthesis parameters
- Identify potential patient-prosthesis mismatch
- Determine intrinsic prosthesis dysfunction

Valve PPM is an innovative mobile tool developed to support echocardiography professionals in their effort of assessing the functionality of implanted prosthetic cardiac valves. The application provides guidelines for assessing an already implanted valve (Check Valve Function) and for choosing a valve before implantation (Optimal Valve Selector). The algorithms behind the App have been derived after an extensive research of the published materials on the aortic and mitral prosthetic valve assessment. - Check Valve Function After selecting a particular valve type, the patient characteristics (weight/height) and the prosthesis actual parameters (peak velocity, mean gradient, VTI prosthesis, VTI LVOT and LVOTd), Valve PPM will provide the user with an answer regarding the normal function of the valve, the potential patient prosthesis mismatch or the intrinsic prosthesis dysfunction. - Optimal Valve Selector The user will be required to select a valve position (aortic/mitral) and the patient characteristics (weight/height) and Valve PPM will instantly indicate the minimum Effective Orifice Area (EOA) in order to avoid Patient Prosthesis Mismatch (PPM).

Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Valve PPM at every 2 months against iElastance's every 8 months. iElastance's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
