About

SP Dashcam

Features

SP Dashcam brings the footage your car is already recording onto your phone. Your vehicle's built-in recorder saves continuously while you drive and watches over the car while it is parked. Until now, seeing any of it meant sitting in the driver's seat or pulling the memory card. SP Dashcam gives you the same album on your phone, over your car's own private link. PAIR ONCE Open the Dashcam panel on the centre screen and tap Share to phone. Scan the code it shows. That is the whole setup โ€” no account, no sign-up, no password. THE ALBUM, THE WAY THE CAR KEEPS IT Loop recordings are grouped by trip, so a drive reads as a drive rather than as forty loose one-minute files. Sentry events are grouped by day and colour-coded by how hard the car was disturbed, so the clip you actually want is the one you can see. The album refreshes itself as the car keeps recording. FOUR ANGLES, ONE TAP APART Front, left, rear and right are recorded together. Pick an angle in front of the pictures and every clip opens on it; switch angles while a clip is playing without losing your place. Sentry events are marked on the timeline, so you can jump straight to the moment something happened. SAVE WHAT MATTERS Export a single angle or all four straight into your photo library, at full quality. The app tells you how large the download will be before it starts, names any angle the car did not record, and you can stop it mid-way. BUILT FOR HOW A CAR ACTUALLY BEHAVES Parked cars go to sleep, tunnels drop, and phones lose signal. SP Dashcam tells the difference between "your car is resting" and "something is wrong", keeps your pairing through both, and picks the album back up when the car returns. It never asks you to scan again for a code that is still perfectly good. LIGHT AND DARK Follows your phone, or pin it to light or dark. Playback follows it too. PRIVACY There is no account and no server of ours. Your phone talks to your car and to nothing else. No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. Clips stay on your car's memory card until you choose to save one, and the ones you save go to your photo library and nowhere else. REQUIREMENTS โ€ข An Avatr or Deepal vehicle with a Huawei HarmonyOS cockpit and a working built-in recorder with its memory card fitted. โ€ข SP Avatr Kit installed on the centre screen โ€” that is what publishes the link this app reads. Setup is at the support page below. โ€ข An internet connection on the car and on the phone. This app is an independent companion for the vehicle's own recorder. It is not produced, endorsed or supported by Avatr, Changan, Huawei, or any vehicle manufacturer. All trademarks belong to their owners.
