Prayer times! vs Mouna

Perform Salah wherever you are! Prayer Times is an iOS / MacOS application for Muslims all around the world. Simple to use, it provides Islamic namaz timetable and the direction of the Qibla. Schedules are calculated based on your location and local convention. Here are some of the features offered by the application. PRAYER TIMES: Get the Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha times for your city. Display time with 12 or 24 hour format. EASY SEARCH: Manually search for your city (for example, by entering "New York", USA) or be automatically located with your GPS and Internet connection. MULTI-LOCATION: Add as many locations as you need for your regular trips. MANUAL ADJUSTMENTS: Adjust the minutes for each Salat time. Set the prayer calculation method (Muslim World League, Egyptian General Authority of Survey, etc.), the twilight angle (for the Fajr and Isha), the juristic school (for the Asr) and the angle based method. AZAN & NOTIFICATIONS: Receive notifications to not miss any Salat. Select from a list of adhans (recited by different muezzins) or tones. FAJR ALARM: Wake up every day before Fajr prayer. QIBLA DIRECTION: Find the Kaaba direction accurately using the compass and the map. ISLAMIC CALENDAR: Get the Islamic calendar. Adjust the Hijri date according to your country. --------------------------------------------------------- IMPORTANT NOTES: (1) In order to find your city: make sure that your location permission, your internet connection and your GPS are enabled. Mouna keeps you company through your dhikr, your daily goals and your reading of the Qur'an — alone or together. THE PRAYER BEADS They count under your thumb, with no need to aim. Five materials — gold, green, ivory, turquoise, rose — three bead sizes, and the name of Allah engraved on each one. A quiet sound and a gentle vibration mark every bead, with an accent every 33. YOUR GOALS Set what you want to accomplish each day: a dhikr with its target, pages of Qur'an, the five prayers, or a simple task to tick off. Start from a template, or build your own. Eight dhikr come with the app, each with its Arabic, its transliteration and its meaning. TOGETHER • Khatma — thirty juz shared between the readers. Everyone takes what they can read; nobody reads the same one twice. • Shared goals — one intention, one progress you build together. • You join with a code. Nobody needs your phone number. • A wall of encouragements, to support one another without judging. YOUR RECORD What you have accomplished, by day, by week, by month. Days in a row, your best day, the khatmas you took part in. A card to share as an image, if you feel like it. No leaderboard. No comparison between users. Devotion is not a competition. YOUR LIBRARY Your PDFs and images, sorted into folders, readable offline. They stay on your phone: they are never uploaded anywhere. WHAT MOUNA DOES NOT DO • No advertising. • No analytics: we do not know which screens you open. • No automatic crash reporting. • No access to your contacts, your location or your camera. The beads, personal goals and the library all work without an account — everything then stays on your phone. An account is needed only for reading together, because the group has to know who is reading which juz. French and English. Free.
