Easy Grader helps you to find assignment grades by either calculating results or scanning a table of all possible results. The calculator mode allows you to quickly find a numeric and letter grade based on the total number of questions and the number of correct or incorrect answers. The chart mode displays a simple table of grades based on a variable number of total questions which you can define. Use the calculator when you need one quick grade at a time. Use the chart when you are grading multiple papers and simply need a quick reference. You can also choose between multiple grading scales for proper calculation of letter grades.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Easy Grader Tool at none against Easy Grade's 3. Easy Grader Tool also leads on iOS requirement (14.2 vs 17.6). Easy Grade's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (11K vs 4). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Easy Grade sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Easy Grader Tool asks for nothing beyond the download.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Easy Grade against 5.0 for Easy Grader Tool. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Easy Grade has 11K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Easy Grade ships an update fortnightly, Easy Grader Tool every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
