Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Final Grade Calculator at none against Easy Grade's 3. Final Grade Calculator also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 81%). Easy Grade's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (11K vs 19). On price, rating, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Easy Grade sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Final Grade Calculator asks for nothing beyond the download.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Easy Grade against 4.9 for Final Grade Calculator. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Easy Grade has 11K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 81% of Easy Grade's written reviews are positive against 100% of Final Grade Calculator's.
Easy Grade ships an update fortnightly, Final Grade Calculator every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
