Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SHARP Display Connect at 67% against Screen Mirroring's 12%. SHARP Display Connect also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 7) and ads (none vs shown). Screen Mirroring's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 2.3) and ratings volume (53K vs 3). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Screen Mirroring holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Screen Mirroring has 53K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of SHARP Display Connect's written reviews are positive against 12% of Screen Mirroring's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

SHARP Display Connect ships an update every 8 months, Screen Mirroring every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
