The clearest difference is rating: Al Mayadeen at 4.1 against NRT's 3.7. Al Mayadeen also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (138 vs 10). NRT's advantage is iOS requirement (7.1 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
