Each times table will be presented individually. For every multiplication the division will be calculated. The children will be guided to work independently. The times table shown makes it easy to control each task independently at any time. Children choose the row that they like to practise on. They can choose between 4 training variations: forwards, backwards, crosswise or divided. They succeed when all 4 variations are done without any mistake. There will be a summary for the child to check which tables it manages well and others it does not do so well as yet. In the third section the aim is to train the already learned. The child will choose the numbers to calculate with and will also set a time to finish it. 5 minutes, 10 minutes or endless.
Integer Multiplication
Read full descriptionHide full description
Integer Multiplication is designed to help students understand the meaning of multiplying positive and negative numbers. The set of integers is closed for multiplication and therefore all products for integers from -10 to +10 can be represented on a -10 x 10 grid. Use the gold sliders on the x and y axes to set the two numbers to be multiplied. Positive products are shown with a black rectangle and negative products are shown in red. Tap the question mark to begin a quiz. The app automatically tracks the number of correct answers. Students are motivated by the sound effects and visually appealing display.
